The NHL's Wild West

The NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are awesome.  And quite unpredictable.

Take a look at the Western Conference bracket.

#1 seeded Red Wings.....gone.

#2 seeded Stars.....gone.

#4 seeded Predators....gone.

#3 seeded Flames will play a Game 7 in CalGary against the Ducks for the right to move on.  If Anaheim wins that game....then the 5th seeded San Jose Sharks will have the home ice "advantage" for the rest of the Western playoffs.  Amazing.

And weird, since all of the higher seeded teams in the Eastern Conference [Sens, Canes, Sabres and Devils] advanced.
