Funk The Bengals!!!

Whenever a team sucks for so long...and they start getting a little shining season....there tends to be a SONG associated with the team.

It seems to be the rage in football.  Whether it is "I got a feeling...", "Hail To The Redskins", "Love Ya Blue" or "Who Dey" [Saints or Bengals]....there seems to be a song attached.

The Cincinnati Bengals haven't seen the playoffs in 15 years.  Fifteen bad seasons.  Hard to believe since Cincy was a upper tier team in the AFC in the 1980s.  Now, the entire 'NATI is going ga-ga in their orange and black and talking playoffs.  Chad Johnson and Carson Palmer jerseys are seen everywhere.  Fans scream "Who Dey!" around town.  Of course, "Welcome the the Jungle" [the Guns N Roses song they adopted in the late 80s] has made a comeback.  They are actually not ashamed to say they are fans.

So now to the song.

Bootsy Collins, a Cincy native who is best known for his funk music with Parlament, has formed a song for the Bengals.  A couple of players writing lyrics, an Ice Cube sample, and some elbow grease formed "FEAR DA TIGER".

There's a video ready to debut next Sunday at the Bengals-Colts game.
