Herm Edwards Will Be the New Chiefs Head Coach

Apparantly KC did get their man....and Edwards got his contract.

Edwards will leave the New York Jets and become the head man at Kansas City.  Both teams have agreed on compensation to "trade" Edwards to the Chiefs....and it is believed that Edwards has already agreed to a contract with Kansas City.

Under the agreement, the Jets will receive a middle-round pick, believed to be a fourth-rounder, in the upcoming 2006 draft.  Not as biting of a deal as, say, Bill Billichik going from the Jets to the Patriots several years ago.
