Again....Why DON'T We Have a Playoff??

I just don't understand how a playoff won't work in college football.  It NEEDS to work.

I just watched Boise State beat Oklahoma in one of the most ballsy and unbelievable finishes to a football game.  Boise led all game long until Oklahoma tied the game with less than 2:00 remaining at 28-28 with a TD and a two-point conversion.  Right after that, Boise throws a pass that gets picked off and returned for a TD.

From there, Boise has a 4th-and-18 near midfield and uses the hook and ladder play to score an unprobably touchdown with :07 left.  In overtime, Oklahoma scores quickly....then Boise scores.  Except, the Broncos don't go for the extra point....they go for two and the win.  They play?  The Statue of Liberty play where the QB fakes a pass, keeps the ball behind him, and the running back takes it from him and runs it in for the win.  Amazing.

Amazing.

Amazing.

How great could a Boise-Ohio State game be??  I mean, these are the only two undefeated teams remaining.

The NCAA helms the basketball tournament and knows what kind of intensity and drama that creates: why can't they see it in a football playoff?

We saw Michigan, who whined that they were robbed of a chance to get a rematch with Ohio State, get mauled by USC in the Rose Bowl.  The same USC team that was beaten by UCLA the last time they took the field.  Anything can happen.

Imagine the celebration of advancing in the playoff than just winning a trophy to a game that isn't a championship.

We need this people!!!
