Last year's Butler/Michigan State game was the worst basketball game I've ever seen, and I was both a SPED school basketball coach and a Special Olympics official.
I think MSU went inside to the same guy like 15 times in a row, and his one post move was to throw up a junk shot while kicking his legs out to get a foul called. No ref called it for him (rightfully so). Butler retaliated by passing the ball endlessly around the perimeter before missing a jump shot, 15 times in a row.
I missed the game this year, and it sounds like I was wise to do so.
